The proportion of our Party members’ panel that believes Boris Johnson should resign rose this month. So it comes as no surprise that his rating in our Cabinet League Table has similarly fallen.
He is back in negative figures after two months out of them, though last month saw his score slide back towards the red. I wrote at the time: “Ukraine will have pushed him up last month; partygate will have pulled him down this. But the driver of his low scores is that the Government is too left-wing, at least in the view of many activists”. That hasn’t changed. His record low was -34 points five months ago.
Elsewhere, there’s little change, though Priti Patel’s score has dropped by more than half, now that the sugar rush of the Rwanda boats announcement has worn off.
