It’s the final category in our End of Year Awards: the Speech of the Year. The nominations procedure is simple. Just mention, in the comments section below, which speeches have most impressed you this year, either because of their beauty or their importance. They have to have been made by a Conservative speaker, or to a Conservative audience. For instance:
- David Cameron’s speech pledging an EU Referendum.
- Lindsay Johns’ address to Conservative conference.
- James Wharton presenting his EU Referendum Bill to Parliament.
- Nick Boles’ “National Liberal” speech.
Tomorrow, we’ll put all of the final nominations to a readers’ vote.
