In the end-December survey a clear majority of party members (59%) thought that the choice of Party Chairman should be decided by members.  I worry that such a mechanism would create two potentially rival power bases in the party but putting aside my reservations I thought it would be interesting to hold our own vote on who you would like as Party Chairman.  Four people are the most likely candidates: Chris Grayling, Jeremy Hunt, Eric Pickles and Caroline Spelman.  You can vote here.

At the end of the survey you will be invited to make a donation to ConservativeHome.  Any monies received will be used to help pay the costs of running these surveys, for new computer equipment and for some political attack videos that we are planning.  I would greatly appreciate any help you can give.
