"Decontaminating" the Tory brand has been a big part of Project Cameron. In a comment on another thread William Norton wonders if a lasting effect of yesterday’s Budget is that Brown has "decontaminated tax cuts." If Brown is happy to be associated with lower taxation it should be harder for him to paint a (real) tax-cutting agenda as irresponsible. Let’s hope so.
