The Government lost the vote on the Withdrawal Agreement motion by 58: 286 ayes against 344 noes. Amongst Tory MPs 277 voted with the Prime Minister, versus a much reduced group of just 34 ‘Spartans’ and Remainers. There were no recorded abstentions amongst Conservatives.
