Congratulations to Rachel Maclean who has been chosen as the Conservative candidate for Redditch (Conservative majority 7,054). The previous Conservative MP Karen Lumley is standing down due to ill health.

- Rachel Maclean: A candidate for Birmingham Northfield at the last General Election. Rachel is a technology entrepreneur who has built two businesses in Birmingham. She founded Skilled and Ready, to help young people prepare for the world of work. She has served 15 years as a Scout Leader and as a School Governor, and fundraised for the LoveBrum charity. She played a leading role in Andy Street’s West Midlands Combined Authority campaign as Co-Chair, which saw former John Lewis CEO Andy Street elected to the new role of Mayor.
