Congratulations to our regular ConHome contributor Sir Andrew Green, founder of Migration Watch, who has today received a peerage.

Sir Andrew is one of four new Cross Bench peers appointed in recognition of their public service on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. The other three are:

  • Sir Jonathan Evans, former Director of the Security Service
  • Professor Alison Wolf, economist and education policy expert
  • Sir Robert Rogers, former Clerk of the House of Commons and reported scourge of John Bercow
