Philip Seccombes is the Conservative candidate for Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire.

I have the utmost respect for our police men and women, who put themselves in harm’s way, every day of the year, in order to keep us safe.

Their attitude reminds me of the Reserve soldiers I had the privilege to command, many of whom took part in overseas operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

My aim is to focus on providing the police with the necessary training and equipment to be able to carry out their roles.

Conservatives are known for their fairness, integrity, and ability to provide value for money.

My three priorities will be:

  • To make Warwickshire a safer place to live and work
  • Catch criminals and bring them to justice
  • Protect the vulnerable in our society

There are nasty people in all communities – murderers, violent individuals, burglars, and cyber criminals. We must seek to protect the elderly, disabled, and vulnerable from them, and ensure that the police, working with other agencies, can do the job.

With only six months until the election, there is no time to lose. I will do everything I can to win and I will need your help, too.

We have six Conservative MPs (out of six) and control five of the six Local Authorities in the County, which bodes well, but no election is won without teamwork and the hard graft of campaigning.

Let’s work together and make sure that Warwickshire is a Conservative gain in May.
