Cllr Marc Bayliss, formerly a Labour councillor who resigned from the Party in January, has joined the Conservatives. Cllr Bayliss was critical of the Labour Party adopting an all women shortlist. He had also refuse to join Labour colleagues in a boycott of the Mayor's charity dinner.

Cllr Bayliss had also stood for Labour in Wyre Forest at the 2005 General Election.

An important new recruit to the Party. Welcome aboard!
