Cllr William Keen who was elected last week in a Council byelection in Epsom & Ewell, gaining a seat from the Residents Association, also won a bet on himself. He bet £50 on himself and won back £450. He decided to place the bet because he "knew" he was going to win. Hats off to him. But with those odds and that degree of confidence why didn’t he make it £1,000.
