In a twist on the normal bingo games for major speeches, we present Ed Balls Anti-Bingo.

The aim of the game is simple. Players must aim to keep a clean sheet, as the Shadow Chancellor’s response to the Autumn Statement fails to mention any of the following:

  • “Double dip”
  • “Triple dip”
  • “Recession”
  • “Rising unemployment”
  • “Too far, too fast”
  • “Plan B”
  • “Downgraded growth”
  • “Gordon Brown”
  • “Flatlining” (double points when he fails to use what was once his favourite gesture)

And finally, ten points when he refuses to say the following:

  • “Sorry”
