I've summarised David Cameron's Andrew Marr interview over at ToryDiary but I want here to repeat something I've said on Twitter. Cameron is very good at the TV interview format. Remember, for example, that One programme interview? Donal Blaney is, of course, correct, that good TV performances aren't anywhere near as important as jobs, growth and lower taxes etc but as Number 10 assesses how to deploy the PM we need to see him more in up-close-and-personal interviews on TV programmes and giving fewer of his, I'm afraid, very forgettable speeches. Too many TV interviews are as bas as too few but this is the medium in which Cameron excels.
