A brief but heartfelt welcome to Iain Duncan Smith, who kicks off a fortnightly column with ConservativeHome today. It’s a lively assault on – well, please read it and see.
The former Work and Pensions Secretary has a history with the site that is longer than mine. Tim Montgomerie set the site up in 2005, having previously helped Duncan Smith to get the Centre for Social Justice up and running, and the latter’s thinking has thus always been influential here.
He will have plenty to say about Brexit, social justice, the future of welfare, foreign affairs, and much more. I am looking forward to reading it. Welcome, IDS.
