It only seems a moment ago since we were welcoming Iain Duncan Smith to the site as a fortnightly columnist. Now he is to be joined by another former Cabinet Minister: Nicky Morgan.
The ex-Education Secretary will, like Duncan Smith, be writing every other week. She will alterate on Mondays with Nadhim Zahawi – who is very much in the news – and starts tomorrow. As she says in her opening piece, she is very much “on the One Nation wing of the Conservative Party”, and will have a lot to say about Brexit, schools, representing a midlands seat, the future of the Party itself, and much more. Andrew Kennedy’s fortnightly column will move to every other Wednesday.
So: a very warm welcome to Morgan. She will write tomorrow about the Article 50 Bill, which is due to begin its Second Reading the day after tomorrow.
