Lib Dem 363 (32.6%, +18.1), Lab 278 (25%, -17.5), Con 229 (20.6%, -22.4), UKIP 193 (17.3%,
+17.3), Eng Dem 51 (4.6%, +4.6).

Gooshays Ward, Havering 

UKIP 831 (39%, +24.6), Lab 569 (26.7%, -1.8), Con 280 (13.1%, -12.6), Harrold Hill Res Assoc 227 (10.6%, +1.2), BNP 202 (9.5%, -12.5), Res Assoc of London 24 (1.1%, +1.1).

Lodbourne Ward, North Dorset

Lib Dem 187 (47.9%, +0.1), Con 134 (34.4%, -17.8), Lab 69 (17.7%, +17.7). Swing of 9% from Con to Lib Dem since 2011.

The Stours Ward, North Dorset DC

Con 207 (80.2%, +11.8), Lab 51 (19.8%, +19.8).

We also had elections for the City of London Corporation yesterday. The results are here. The Labour Party candidate for Bread Street Ward got six votes. Congratulations to Alex Deane on his election. Commiserations to Donal Blaney and Mark Clarke on their narrow defeats.

Gospel Oak Ward, Camden

Lab 1272 (59.9%, +20.7), Con 419 (19.7%, -7.9), Green 134 (6.3%, -5.4), Lib Dem 132 (6.2%, -15.3), TUSC 109 (5.1%, +5.1), BNP 57 (2.7%, +2.7).

Royton South Ward, Oldham

Lab 938 (63.7%, -6.1), C 244 (16.6%, -7.7), Lib Dem 221 (15%, +9), Green 70 (4.8%, +4.8).

Foxhills Ward, Runnymede 

UKIP 336 (40.2%, +17.4), Con 318 (38.1%, -8.5), Lab 181 (21.7%, -0.3).

UKIP gain from Con. Swing of 13% from Con to UKIP since 2012.

So two gains for UKIP in two weeks. Given their opinion poll position they have surprisingly few councillors (about 30 out of 22,000 compared to the Green Party with over a hundred.) Could this be about to change in the county council elections? I suspect their gain in Runnymede may be partly due to the Conservative council increasing Council Tax.
